Edit Me Challenge Week 7

The Recipe:  After downloading Rosie's wonderful picture of a Scottish castle from the Leaves 'n Bloom Studio, (thanks Rosie)  I added the screen blend mode, then duplicated that layer for an even lighter effect. Played with the neon glow filter as well as the render lens flare filter.
Pulled one of my favorite textures - artist-  from Pixel Dust Photo Art, duplicated the artist texture layer a couple of times to intensify it even more, then applied the multiply and soft light blend modes at 100% opacity.

It's a visual treat to see the twists others put on this spectacular picture.  Join me at Edit Me 2012 - Week 7.

  1. Absolutely Amazing, Marty! The photo actually took my mind to the WWII era for some reason. Your edit gave me a peace from the devesation I had originally associated with that time. Talented... Very nice, thank you.

  9. Beautiful, and each time I see some of your work I think, I must learn how to do this. And then I look at the pile of library books sitting on the floor, all on photography. And then I see the other work that still needs to be done...and I just turn back to your photos. Because it's easier to look at your photos right now, then to have to dive into another project.

    They are inspiring, and beautiful.
