I took the scissors to this one!
To take this:
The mere cropping of the picture took the emphasis off the foreground carnation so the eye could linger on the darker, withered one! More visual balance was added by eliminating the excesses.....forget that it's too dark and has a defininte blur! I love to play with those pictures that most photographers would trash.

The original is beautiful, and the crop is beautiful Marty. This is simply a gorgeous photograph.
