The process: In Photoshop, start with a new blank file...white background.

Pulled Abbi's photo from my album and erased some of the 'stuff'. Played around with the lens flare filter to

further de-emphasize her surroundings.

Pulled this picture from my albums and layered it on top of Abbi's picture. Adjusted opacity...erased the flowers from her face. Now isn't she a lovely in the flower garden.....

I took my silhouette picture taken last weekend and added lesson's learned from Kim Klassen's video - Make Art. It's beautiful - even if you are not a photographer, it's nice! Her texture - nature's beauty....
I blended in multiply and soft light, adjusted levels, brushed the texture from my head then found this quote that fit the happiness in my head today.... and it was done!

Casie's face is better without the shadow and enhanced to a lighter shade of blush, but her hand is too washed out as is the other child's hair! I'll work a little harder! Comments on how to do this are welcome!

Revisited.....

I could stay in this moment forever

This is a photo worthy of revisiting....of my young niece and nephew while at a family gathering....it's truly an innocent wonder....and that's the prompt for I Heart Faces this week. Abbi and Mikiel - they adore each other- oh, the age of innocence!
