Lobster boats coming in at the end of the day:  Theresa's original picture.
Theresa and her family had a delightful 2012 vacation in and around the Northeastern United States and Canada.  This is just one of the many pictures she shared in her Facebook album.  While I had fun in Photoshop this morning,  at the end of the day the original picture of the lobster boats coming in is the best ever.

Sunday Afternoon:

It was just one of those nights....one of those lonely, lonely nights:
I go back to the places we've been
It feels like you're still there
I live all those moments again
Wishing you were here

an unknown lady in black and white

A happy face in black and white:  on the streets of Seattle.

Her smile makes me smile....I'm wondering who is putting this smile on her face.  It's someone who is listening to her every word:

you may call me 'bird'

I am a bird, so you may call me 'bird'

I saw a teeshirt the other day with the statement....."I'm one of those people" and have been wondering ever since who are 'those people'.   . With the short little attention span I have, I almost never talk about the same people more than once, so 'those people' are always never the same people as the next 'those people' I may be talking about.   Now to conclude.....'those people' who are wearing 'those teeshirts' are just slightly arrogant to think 'they' are the chosen 'people' to have a teeshirt made just for them.

('bird' is surrounded by a kimklassen texture)

J. & P. Coats

I've often wondered the significance of the period after the initials  J. & P. Why isn't J & P Coats an adequate statement.  Wouldn't we know that J is the first initial of one of the Coats brothers and P is the initial of the other?    Does J. make him more important than simply J?

She was just sitting - on a street in Rome - on the seat of a Harley motorcycle - waiting, watching and smoking.  I liked that she seemed at ease being alone amidst a crowd.....no jewelry, no tattoo, no lipstick, no hairspray!  Hair pulled away from her neck to stay cool in the heat of the day.  A far-away look in her eyes.

As my bus pulled away, I got one last glimpse of the girl ~
