Look....really look....at the photograph

delete one as a last resort:  there is something good about most of them....for example, here is what I saw.....

in this picture!

What????? I haven't a clue!  why this little snippit in the whole scheme of things intrigued me:

so much to do with one lousy picture

From 'pretty bad' to 'I can't believe that's the same window' - the larger one in the middle ~

I started the love affair with this picture when The Kat Eye View got me thinking about elimination.  Hey....when you've got one this bad, what's to loose?  Scroll down a few posts to see more of 'urban blight' revisited.

This is my second take on the original picture.....go here for my first elimination

Worth Saving

Saved by the process ~ eliminating!

To most....I guess....the original picture had no value.  In a small community, within walking distance to and from....I'm sure this was a well-loved church!  Once.  But now it serves as a used car lot, but still, it beckoned me in.  After I determined that it could be saved, I began to eliminate!

This picture really has more potential than meets the uncaring eye.....I'm off now to eliminate some more!

Repeats....Repitition....Repetitive - not things that keep me awake at night!

Oh, The Kat Eye View of the World.....whatever made you think of repeating patterns...things that are repetitive...the kind of pictures that won't allow your eye to focus on any one thing or item within the picture.

For some unknown reason, I love taking pictures of things in stacks and things in rows and things that are straight or in a series or in groups....here is just a sampling!

Secret Gardens and Pathways in Italy

On every street there were ornate gates........
                                                      some open, some locked.....

                                                                                             garden.

Doors of the Day

I continue to be intrigued with the shuttered windows, doors and balconies in Italy.   Even on the steepest inclines - a doorway - where one has to wonder how balance was kept in entering and leaving!  There could be no possiblity of setting a bag down to find a key....have mercy - watch out below!
